Hi I'm Cameron

I'm in the Army; I'm a Husband, I'm a Father, I'm a Friend, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am in the Army. I am a 92 Yankee Supply Clerk. I have reclassed to Mortuary Affairs Specialists and will begin my training March 2012. I am Married to the Love of my life; my best friend. She blessed me with a beutiful daughter born 10 weeks premature at 2 pounds 6 ounces. Our daughter is growing strong and amazing us everyday. My daughter is the second Love of my life. I have four sisters, three brothers and recently five step sisters; I am the youngest of them all. My wife and I enjoy going to the Temple often when we are able.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the rest of my family as we were all taught by our parents about the Gospel and the Lord. Through their teaching I grew to Love and appreciate the Gospel. I was baptised at age 8 by my father. Each and every day brings a new experiance and joy in having the light of Christ in my life!

How I live my faith

I recently became a teacher to the men in our church classes. I also participate in caring over the donated goods from the members; these goods are sent to the local church donation facility to be given to others in the community in need. I visit families in our church once a month to see if they are in need of any assitance of any kind so that I may be a help to them in any way; as well i teach and provide them with a spiritual lesson each time I visit. I serve my county as a Soldier in the Army.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

We are not required to serve a mission. I am older then 22 and have not served a mission. We have the choice to serve if we desire. Sometimes in certain circumstances some members who desire to serve a mission are unable to due to medical conditions or other factors. I still hope to serve a mission some day with my wife once our daughter has grown and moved out of the house on her own. Show more Show less
