Hi I'm Jeff Richards

I'm from Mesa, Arizona. I draw cartoons. I have a wonderful wife, 13 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a terrific wife. We have been married over 30 years and have had many amazing experiences raising our 13 children and 2 valley bulldogs. I work in the world of graphic design and cartooning.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since birth. I grew up in a typical Mormon family where sharing our time through service was the norm and just the thing we did. Kind of like Mormon families all around the world. I grew up surrounded by my mother and father, brothers and sisters, men and women reaching out to others providing, sharing, caring and making life easier, happier and more joyous. I know that when we are providing service, we are in partnership with the Savior. We are serving as his disciples, bringing the gospel to others and at the same time lifting us all closer to Him. The teachings of the Mormon Church and the examples of others built the foundation upon which the rest of my life has been constructed. I am thankful for the times I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and prayed to our Heavenly Father, asking if these things were true. My prayers were answered. I know that the Book of Mormon is true scripture and that it rests hand-in-hand with the Bible; teaching, leading and inspiring God's children to come closer to Him. Time and again, the scriptures have been, for me, a window into heaven.

How I live my faith

As a family we pray, study the scriptures and at least once a week share special time together as part of our special Family Home Evenings. Our family currently has a missionary in the mission field. We love to read his letters and feel his tremendous drive and spirit. He is happy, healthy and having a fantastic time sharing the restored gospel with his brothers and sisters in the great nation of Turkey as part of the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. Our sons and daughters find service to others a great source of spiritual strength. In our ward (congregation) my wife and I enjoy having callings so that we may serve others. Cindy is an instructor in the Relief Society and I serve as a counselor in the Bishopric.
