Hi I'm Leila

I am 28 years old, married to my sweet heart, and we have 5 fun and amazing kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of 10 years and a mother of 5 :-) My favorite thing is to learn. I love to try new things and learn the in's and out's of everything. I love to sew and...bake! Pie's, cinnamon rolls, cookies, scones. Just about anything that will put a smile my 5 munchkins faces.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For me, there has always been a quiet peace, an unmovable truth, that this church is true. The thing that has gotten me through all of the trials that I have faced in my life, is prayer. When I pray, I can feel in my heart and know that my loving Heavenly Father is there, listening to me and loving me. So many times I have felt his loving arms wrapped around me comforting me. I know that He cares for me, that He hurts when I hurt and that He is proud of me as I continue to have faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. I can feel my Heavenly Father's unconditional love for me through the Holy Spirit and I know that he has provided a Savior for me. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, atoned for my sins. I know that he died and was resurrected and that he loves and blesses me. I am so grateful for that knowledge, because it gives me the desire and strength to try to be a little better everyday. I am grateful for the continuing conformation that I receive from the Holy Ghost, testifying to me that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I am also grateful to be able to give the gift of this gospel to my children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by teaching my children to be examples of Jesus Christ. I often ask them, what would Jesus want you to do? My children are taught that they are Heavenly Father's children and that he loves them and that he wants them to be happy. That is why he blessed us with the gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of prayer.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Leila
My faith in Jesus Christ has taught me what unconditional love is and because of that, I understand that in order for any relationship to be successful, there has to be unconditional love. Show more Show less
