Hi I'm Katie Wilson

I' a student at Arizona State University, studying family and human development. I love fitness and exercise! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student of Family Studies at Arizona State University. I'm also a fitness professional, working as a certified personal trainer. I spend my days helping people to change their physical bodies. I have found that there is a great connection between how people view themselves physically and how they view themselves spiritually. I believe there is a great connection between the physical and spiritual.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. This is the faith of my parents and I was raised in a home where the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught. Although this was a part of my upbringing as a child, I did reach a point in my life when it was important for me to learn for myself what is true. So I spent time studying, and the teachings of the gospel made a lot of sense. I spent time praying, and I felt that comforting feeling that comes from the Holy Ghost. I experimented on the words taught in the scriptures, and I felt the Lord's confirming influence in my life. I knew that I had found the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I spent a year and a half of my life as a Missionary, teaching these same truths to the people of Louisiana. Each time I shared the teaching of the Gospel, I felt a confirmation that I what I was saying was true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in all my daily activities. I study the scriptures and words of the prophets on a daily basis. I attend my church services every week and attend the temple as often as possible. I work in an environment where immodesty is prevalent and many people like to show off their bodies. I like to stand out from the crowd by being modest in my appearance and in my demeanor.
