Hi I'm Carolyn

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Kentucky active in another church. The missionaries contacted my family when I was 13 years old.

About Me

I am a grandmother with 3 sons still at home. I stay busy with extended family, helping the scouting program and the community. I enjoy puppies, farm animals, gardening and sewing...and chocolate :) When I was a young wife I was a legal secretary and then a real estate agent. My husband and I produced a small want-ads paper for a while when our kids were little. We love music in our family and most of our family members play the piano and another instrument. And we love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries taught my family, I remember thinking as each point was taught, "Yeah, I knew that!". This was the Holy Spirit affirming to my heart that these things were true. I have been blessed with a testimony of the gospel since that time. I have learned that with life's troubles faith and a humble heart can see you through.

How I live my faith

Having many sons I have been involved in scouts for over 30 years. This has brought great joy and a sense of accomplishment to all of us. I have also spent many years teaching children in the Primary organization. I love how we help people in our community and all around the world through the church's many programs of service. Right now I am in charge of our ward Christmas party (for the whole family) and we are going to try our best to create a special experience with our "Christmas in Bethlehem".
