Hi I'm Kitty

I'm a Mormon. I help people pick glasses and see better. It makes me feel good to help people look and feel their best.

About Me

I like to arrange flowers. It doesn't always turn out great, but I love the beauty of the earth and the seasons. I am a Mom and Grandmom. Grandkids are just that grand!

Why I am a Mormon

My mother is the one that first heard the gospel from some missionaries. I am so grateful to them and my mom for the chance I had to grow up in the church. I have so many blessings in my life because of the gosple of Jesus Christ. I grew up in the church, but I had to get a testimony of my own too. It is precious to me. To KNOW God loves me and cares for me personally is so comforting and strengthening in my every day life. It's a hard world, I can't imagine it without God and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love Jesus for so many reasons! His title of Savior is probably the first one. Without his loving life, sacrifice, death and resurrection, I could not go back to my Father in Heaven. He's my shepherd, my strength, the happiness I have in my day comes from Him. When days are not so happy, He is my comfort. Knowing He loves me, helps me make decisions every day that will bring me closer to Him. He has said He wants to be our friend. I want to be His friend too. The gospel helps me stay on the path that will lead me back to Jesus and our Heavenly Father. I'm so grateful that they did not just put me on earth and say "good luck", they love me and help me each day. I must make my own decisions. God will not force me to do anything. But I want to do everything I can to return to Him. Jesus Christ will make up the differences with repentance. I am so happy being a "Mormon"

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day the best I can by being honest and caring to those I associate with. My job lets me interact with lots of people. God loves them as much as He loves me, I try to treat them that way. At church I help with the ladies group and write an article every month in our ladies newsletter. I also visit every month some of my sisters (ladies from our ward) as a visiting teacher. My friend and I go each month, at least, and see them. They are all different from each other but oh so wonderful. Some are older and some younger yet we are the same. We love the Lord and try to help each other. I also help whenever I can if there is a special need in our congregation or community. We have service projects like cleaning our own church building, we also help with our community service days, helping clean parks etc. We have a boy scout troop in our congregation, I am the secretary for them also.
