Hi I'm C.W.

I am a father and husband. I practice corporate law. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I went to college at BYU and law school at Harvard. After law school I practiced law in Chicago, where I met my wife. We moved to Arizona in 2006. I have hiked the Grand Canyon, rim to rim, twice. I like to learn about U.S. History. I am a Red Sox fan. I play racquetball with some of my lawyer friends. My favorite food is homemade pizza my wife makes on Thursdays.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to live my life in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church is led by prophets and apostles who seek and teach the will of Jesus Christ. The Church gives me the best opportunity to follow the Savior.

How I live my faith

Jesus teaches us to be kind to others. He teaches us to reach out to the sick and afflicted. He teaches us to keep his commandments and live clean and virtuous lives. I work with teenagers of the Church. We seek to help these teenagers plan and execute service activities in the community. We invite these teenagers to live clean lives and keep God's commandments. Recently the teenagers from our congregation visited a home for the mentally disabled. They sang songs and spent time together. Many hugs were given and received. On another occasion the teenagers from our congregation painted the homes of several families in a financially depressed neighborhood in our city. They also distributed Thanksgiving turkeys to these families. We live our faith by extending a helping hand to those in need.
