Hi I'm Stefanie

I grew up in Snowflake Arizona. I am a Dental Hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dental hygienist that enjoys serving and educating the public. Outside of work I love being the favorite aunt and spending time with family. I also enjoy being in and exploring the outdoors, playing sports, and singing. Though I am not an avid reader I do enjoy reading a good book. I have traveled to Hawaii, Guatamala, Jordan and Israel. I have rappelled, snorkeled, sky dived, and parasailed. Next trip over seas, I would like to visit Europe.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love how i feel when I go to church. It's a feeling of warmth, goodness, and peace. It's like you just came home. I love that we are family centered and that we know we can be with our families forever even after we die. This has brought great comfort to me when I have had loved ones pass away. I love that we know we are children of God. God has a plan for us here on this Earth and there is meaning and purpose in life. I love that we are taught to be Christlike and to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. As I have strived to be Christlike I have noticed I am more patient, kind, charitable and positive. This has blessed my live and continues to bless it. I am Grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and that when we take it upon us we can be forgiven of our sins. I love Prayer. At church and at home we are taught that God hears and answers our prayers and that we can receive direction in our lives directly from God as we kneel in prayer. This has brought great comfort and peace in my life. I have had many prayers answered and I know others will be.

How I live my faith

I am the President of a group of young single women who strive to be christlike in fulfilling the needs of our church and community. We take meals and clean homes or aid in anyway we can when someone is sick or otherwise afflicted. We create activities where we learn skills that enhance our lives and the lives of others around us. We gather every Sunday for an hour and have a gospel discussion. This is a place where we can ask questions and volunteer personal experiences that have helped us grow and shape our testimonies of Jesus Christ and his gospel. We also have the opportunity to visit each other once a month. Two women visit another. It is through this that we build friendships, bless the lives of, and fulfill the needs of each individual member. This is how we learn to become more like Christ: By serving others, being charitable, showing unconditional love, building faith in him, and teaching each other to follow him.
