Hi I'm Kim

I grew up on a ranch in a small town in the mountains of Arizona. I'm a school administrator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I raise small animals-chickens, rabbits, turkeys etc. My family has a large garden. When people ask me about how much money we save by having a garden I tell them we're raising kids not a garden. Our garden is helping raise our kids into becoming honest hardworking respectful adults. I also enjoy playing the piano and organ for church. I'm a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America. I am an Eagle Scout and I've received the Silver Beaver Award. As a school administrator I've been able to gain a great deal of satisfaction by helping the parents in our community raise their children. It has been a privilege! Oh yes--did I mention I also enjoy beekeeping!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong Mormon family. This has been such a blessing to my life. Learning about God and the purpose of this life from my early childhood has helped me face the difficult and rough challenges of life. The life of a Mormon is a happy life! It is a life with purpose and peace. This peace comes from a firm faith in God. I would highly recommend the Mormon way of life to anyone!

How I live my faith

I currently train adults to work with the young men in our church. I'm also directly responsible for helping the young men in our area prepare for missions. I'm a home teacher. As a home teacher I visit a widow and two other families in our ward each month and give them a short spiritual message. Home teachers also provide service to their home teaching families. When it snows, I take my boys over to my home teaching families to shovel sidewalks and give service.
