Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband of a wonderful woman and a father to two energetic children. Despite 5 years when we lived in Boston we have spent all our lives in Washington state. We were born and raised in the Seattle area and now live in one of its northern suburbs. My wife and I graduated from the University of Washington. I currently work at The Boeing Company in the 787 program and my wife works as an attorney in Seattle. We love sports (especially baseball), taking walks with our Old English Sheepdog and going to the beach when it gets warm enough.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon...simple as that. I grew up in the Baptist church and gained a testimony of the Savior when I was young but was lead to read the Book of Mormon when I was 26. As I was reading in the first few days of my investigation I knelt and prayed to my Heavenly Father for a confirmation as to whether what I was reading was true. I certainly received an answer to my prayer. After receiving my testimony of the Book of the Mormon I sought out the missionaries in my area and was baptized a few few weeks later. I have never looked back.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the ward mission leader in our ward. I help coordinate the missionary efforts of our ward members and the full time missionaries. It is a special calling for me and allows me the opportunity to share my testimony and the love of our Savior. I have previously served as a scout leader and a Sunday school teacher for 10 year olds.
