Hi I'm Garrison

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a teacher and coach at a private school in Connecticut. I live with my beautiful wife to whom I have been married for 13 years, and my four children ranging from ages 2 to 9. I teach AP Psychology and Ecology, and I coach ice hockey and rowing.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a convert to the LDS church when I was about five years old, so for all intents and purposes I have been associated with the church for my entire life. I was baptized a member of the church when I was eight years old, but I truly believe that my actual conversion to the church occurred much later in my life. It was not until I was in college when I really realized that this was something that I definitely wanted in my life. Though I had seemingly many moments of conversion throughout my high school and college years, and by and large I lived the tenants of the gospel of Christ, it wasn't until later in college when I made the decision that this was who I wanted to be and this is how I wanted to live. I know that Christ lives and that he is my Savior, and it is through him and only him, that I can return to live with My Father in Heaven someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person that I can be every day. One thing that I know is that I am a better man because I strive to live the tenants of this religion. I would not be where I am today without the Gospel of Christ in my life. I live my faith by striving to serve others and being the best that I can be each day.
