Hi I'm Addie

I was born and raised in Arizona. I am a wife and mother to two boys. I am recovering from an eating disorder. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 9 years and have two beautiful boys. I have had an eating disorder since about middle school age and am now going on two years in recovery. I also run and love the freeing feeling of being outside with the wind in your hair and the pavement under your feet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon my whole life. I have always loved being a mormon and the way it made me feel and how strong my family was with the church in our lives, but at my lowest when I was struggling with my worth/body image issues and eating disorder (my rock bottom) did my love for the church flourish beyond what I knew it could. I learned and could not deny that Heavenly Father was aware of me and knew what my needs were and are. Im a mormon because I know He lives and I know that He knows me and is cheering for me as He is for you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every sunday. I pay 10% of our income willingly (tithing), I dress modestly, I am careful of the things I watch and listen to, I visit teach women in my ward once a month to check in on them, I serve in Young Women as a teacher for the 14-16 year old girls. As a family we have family home evening on monday nights to teach our boys about the church and about choosing the right way, and we also say family prayers.
