Hi I'm Charlie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, My name is Charlie. I own my own business that has been in our family for over sixty years. My hobbies and interests include almost any kind of sport. I used to play almost everything, but now I enjoy watching them. The Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, and Avalanche are always fun to support. I like to travel when I get the chance, spending time with family on short vacations. I like to cook and BBQ, also working in the yard and around the house, I find very relaxing. I like gadjets such as computors, laptops, ebooks, cameras, and big screen TV's. We have a small average in the country so we also get to ride four wheelers, tractors, ect. Working six days a week and keeping up with everything else is a challenge, but I think it keeps me from getting into trouble. We have two daughters not living with us, and one son still in high school. Our oldest daughter is married and we now have two grandsons

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I met my wife. I had been involved with other churches my entire life and did not really know much about the Mormon church. After learning more about the church, by attending, church meetings, and being taught by missionaries, I decided to join. I have never looked back. It has been the most important step in my life. The gospil principles that are taught, are true and have led me to a full filling life style. I have never been happier since I have been a member. I,m not perfect by all means, but I know if I keep trying to live as Christ wants me to live, I can make a difference for the good in my life, my family, and others that I associate with.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on my shirt sleeves. I try to be honest in my dealings at work just as I would if I was with my family or church friends. It is important to become involved, teaching youth or adult classes at our church, is something everyone gets the chance to do. Teaching actually helps you learn more and does you more good than being on the listening end. Our church also has a program that sends home teachers and visiting teachers to members homes once a month to fellowship with family members on a more personal level. We are taught to become involved in community activities, to help others, whenever we can. I am involved with the local Lions club, and serve on a town board that is involved with downtown developement. The main thing I always try to do is be honest, fair, and to always do the best I can.
