Hi I'm Jessika

I grew up in Las Vegas. I'm a Pre-School teacher and full time student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Jessika. Right now I'm a college student, nanny, and a preschool teacher. Needless to say, my life revolves around kids, and I love it! I am the oldest of seven children. I'm super passionate about music and I've been playing the piano for 13 years. Right now I'm learning the guitar...it's a work in progess! :) I love being a member of this wonderful, amazing, TRUE church and it blesses my life so greatly. I enjoy photography and going on hikes. One of my goals in life is to visit as many temples as I can and take photos of them. I love my life and I love this Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of The Church. Although throughout my childhood my family wasn't active, I always had a desire to go to church. I knew how important it was. I KNOW with every fiber of my being that this church is TRUE. I continue to follow His gospel because I know that it is the one and only true church on the earth. I choose to follow the commandments and abide by the precepts of the gospel because I know how much they can bless our lives! I have a firm testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I don't just believe it's true, I know it's true. I know that Joseph Smith was and is the Prophet of the Restoration and that he did translate the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, the spirit has confirmed it to me many, many times. I know that President Thomas S Monson is a living prophet of God and that he receives divine revelation to guide us in these days. I know that families can be together forever. I have such a deep love for this gospel, and I know that without it, my life would be quite sad and hopeless, really. I know that we have a LOVING Heavenly Father who knows each of us by name and loves us all. I know that Christ did die for us. I love this church and I am so grateful for it!

How I live my faith

I'm the Primary pianist in my ward right now, and I absolutely, completely LOVE it. I get to play piano for 2 hours and listen to little children sing- what's better than that? Nothing! I'm going to start attending the Singles Ward soon, so I'll be released from my duties in primary. I love the women I visit teach, they are all such sweet, special ladies. I am so glad that I am able to serve in this church, I love it so much!
