Hi I'm Emma Hatch

I was born in Indiana and still consider my self a "hoosier" girl, even though I live in Arizona. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and the mother of a daughter who just left for college. I love to read and scrapbook and listen to the rain. For the first time in almost 20 years I am about to re-enter the workforce and am excited and terrified all at the same time!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were members of the church. I was raised with a strong faith of God and Country. At age eight, I choose to be baptized as a member of the church. My father performed the baptism in our pool in the backyard. It was a great day! During my teenage years I actively sought out to truley learn about this gospel and make sure I had a testimony of it all of my own. I can tell you that I did and still do have a testimony of the Saviors gospel and am grateful to belong to this church.

How I live my faith

I love having the oppertunity to serve in different capacities in the church! Right now I work with the youth in our young womens program. (ages 12-18). This is so fun! I also serve as the ward music chairman. That is an oppertunity for me to help with our choir and arrange special musical numbers for our sacrament meeting. I also serve as a humanitarian leader. This provides many different oppertunities to work with a number of different orginizations in the community and throughout the world. Last but not least I have the distinct blessing of serving as a visiting teacher. I love to go to the homes of these few choice women and get to know them better. What a blessing it is in my life! Not everyone has to serve in so many capacities in our church, I am just have the time and am able too and love to do it!
