Hi I'm Nick Walker

I'm an identical twin. I served in the England Leeds Mission. I love sports. I'm a husband and a father of two. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a big loving family. My brothers and sisters were big examples to me in my life being the youngest of seven. I have an identical twin brother who has been my best friend. one of the hardest things I ever had to do was to leave my twin brother when I left on my mission. Having a companion with you since birth and then to leave them for two years was extremely difficult. However the thought and idea of our reunion kept me going. I attended and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in History and Culture. I am about to attend Physical Therapist Assistant School in January. I am married to the most beautiful woman and greatest friend. We have been married for almost 7 years. We have two amazing children who mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church to goodly parents who taught me the teachings of the gospel. I remembered going to church every sunday and being anxious for the feelings I felt when I went their, even at a young age. I gain my own witness and testimony of the church at the age of 14, when a feeling came over me so strong as the congregation was singing the hymn "Joseph Smith's First Prayer". Right there and then I knew with out a doubt that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God and because of that, the Book of Mormon was true which also meant that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the true. It was a moment I will never forget. Today I continue to strive to live the teachings of the gospel and everyday I think of my little family, my beautiful wife and kids and I remind myself everyday how great it will be to live with them for eternity and how my life would be lost without them. That is what keeps me striving to do what is right and to provide them with the same teachings that I was taught growing up. I love them with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I currently work among the youth of the church and try to set a great example for them. I also love attending church activities and meeting new people in our church. I feel that working with the youth is extremely important because they are at a critical moment in their lives where making important decisions can determine what their future will be like. So it is important that they make right choices and decisions that they can prepare to live a successful and happy life.
