Hi I'm Jamie Williams

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of seven children and love it. I get to stay home and play with my kids. I love them and enjoy my time with them. I got my degree in Elementary Education and decided to stay home and raise a family. I still get to do all of my hobbies like play soccer, run, cook, sew, participate in races, play volleyball, and any other sport. I also enjoy reading, traveling, organizing, and coming up with fun things for my kids to do. I have twins that we adopted from Ethiopia when they were 7 months old. There was no other reason, but that we felt like they needed to be part of our family. The have been so fun and add so much excitement to our bunch.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and have enjoyed every minute of it. This church teaches me how I can make it back to live with a loving Heavenly Father after I leave this Earth and I get to see those family members again that have already left. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. His life is the kind of life I want to lead. I try everyday to do the things that Christ would do. I am the happiest when I do the things that he would. I can tell that I am unhappy when I step out of that box and do anything contrary to the will of the Lord. I prefer to be happy. That happiness is what helps me guide my family in love and helps my children uphold strong moral standards. This helps me be confident that they are making correct choices when I am not around. I can trust them. I don't know where I would be without the knowledge that I have.

How I live my faith

I am an active volunteer at my children school. I try hard to be involved in my children's lives and teach them what is right. I also work with the women in and out of our church. We love and serve each other especially if there is a need with neighbors or community members that are having a hard time. I love serving. This is how I stay close to the Lord. I also attribute everything I have to the Lord. I know that nothing in my life could be mine without the Lord's help. That is something that humbles me everyday: To know that I am nothing, but to God I am everything.
