Hi I'm Camille.

I grew up in Centerville, Utah. I'm a wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Most importantly, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to a happy, active two-year-old boy. I consider myself a pretty simple gal, and am content with the everyday comings and goings of life. I enjoy music and grew up very involved in piano, flute, and voice. I taught piano throughout middle school and high school and currently teach as well. I love my students and am happy to be part of their successes. I met my husband in college where I received my degree in Accounting of all things! Family is my number one joy and I find myself the happiest when I'm surrounded by family members. I look forward to nights out with my hubby, family vacations, teaching moments with my son, home-cooked meals, taking pictures, or just cuddling up to a good movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with a long legacy of faithful members. I'm grateful for the many examples of sacrifice and faith. My parents had the motto to teach their children righteous principles and then let them govern themselves. They taught me the gospel and how to live it both through word and example. From that point, it was up to me to gain my own testimony and decide for myself if it was true. I am very grateful that I do have a testimony of my own. I know Heavenly Father loves me, and hears and answers my prayers. He knows my desires, my heart, and is mindful of me. I know Jesus Christ is my elder brother and Savior. I know he atoned for my sins that I can live with Him again. I know the church was restored in the latter days by the prophet Joseph Smith and we have the blessing of having a living prophet today to guide and direct us. The Gospel is part of who I am. It has shaped my thoughts, my words, and actions throughout my entire life. Times of difficulty would have seemed impossible to bear if I didn't know who I am and that I have a loving Heavenly Father who is always there for me. My greatest joys and blessings come from being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My faith is a daily part of my life. The scriptures, family time, and personal communication with my Father in Heaven through prayer are essential to me. Being a mom is a great responsibility and it's important to me that my son (and future children) grow in faith and testimony. I look for daily teaching moments where I can share the gospel with my family. I'm always uplifted when I can serve those around me. Sometimes I even feel I'm the one benefiting more:) I try to take opportunities to serve and lift the spirits of those I come in contact with through word and deed. I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of capacities in the church. Currently I serve the youth of the church, particularly girls ages 12-18. It's an incredible experience to witness young girls become strong women of the church in a matter of six years. They are examples to me as I strive to be an example to them as well. I live my faith because I know it is true, and I know it is true because I live my faith.
