Hi I'm Ed

I'm a husband, a father, a grandfather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I received my degree in Accounting as a young married man and have enjoyed my experiences working with others in the business world. I grew up in a rural farm community in Idaho and learned to love the outdoors. I enjoy fishing, hunting, hiking, jogging and family activities. I am a husband of 45 years, a father of 5 children and a grandfather of 20 grandchildren. I am living my dream with a beautiful family. I love fishing with grandchildren as well as bike rides and weekly get togethers with them. I also enjoy gardening and photography. I have run 6 marathons and so many 10K's that I have lost count of them (all of them in my younger years). I enjoy home improvement projects and mentoring my son's and son in law. Working with my head and hands brings me a great deal of happiness. As I work I learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born the eldest of six children to wonderful parents in a Mormon (LDS) community. I am thankful for loving parents who taught me to love my Savior. When I left home and attended college I found through prayer and faith that the Savior really loves me and the gospel became the center of my life from that time forward. My faith in the Savior has helped me through challenging times and helped me through tough decisions and helps me feel connected with God. I know that He cares for me and that He is there to help me no matter what.

How I live my faith

I try to live my beliefs by being devoted to my family, a loyal and trusted friend and neighbor, a reliable honorable person in the business world, a person who is willing to serve my fellowman. I try to live a Christ like life and treat others as I would like to be treated. I find that the greatest happiness comes into my life when I am anxiously engaged in a good cause and serving others.
