Hi I'm Wayne Hatch

I was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona so I am a true Phoenician and I am Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have beautiful college girl that is the light of my life. We all love traveling and being together. I am a commerical building in contractor and have worked in the construction field since I was a boy. I love what I do and love seeing a project through from start to finish. I enjoy many sports and the outdoors. I love to go camping and set up a wonderful camp and sit around talking to friends and eating great food. My hobbies are snow skiing, snow boarding, water skiing, wake boarding, golfing (not very good) and being around family and friends. I must say one of my favorite things is to just be home in front of a warm fire on a cold night with my wife watching a movie. The quiet down time is presious to the both of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have lived the gospel my whole life. I remember going on my mission and leaving home for two years serving in the Phillipines when I told myself that I had better find out if this was all true or not. If it wasn't I was going to spend two years teaching a lie and wasting alot of everyones time and money. What I found when I searched was that it was true and what I have found over the past 20 plus years since then is that living this gospel brings true happiness and joy to my life. There is nothing else in this life that brings the peace and assurance in my life then living the gospel. It sets the tone for who and what I am and helps me to become someone better each and every day. I love the gospel and know that it is what brings the joy I feel each and every day. I am a Mormon because I know it is true and love how it makes me and those around me feel.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the church and in each of the callings I have always understood that they have come from my Savior and that I am to be his hands on this earth to help others. I have always recieved each calling with excitment and commitment to do whatever I can to be the best I can be. I have found that the more I put into my service the more I get out. I have spent many years working with the Youth of the Church which has let me work with and around the Boy Scouts of America. This has been very rewarding to me as I have been able to be around our future leaders and I feel like I get to take part in history being made. If I can help them realize who they are and what potential they have I feel like I have accomplished something. I have partcipated and put on many events in the church for both Adults and Youth and to see people being involved in good and wholesome activities and enjoying yet give me hope for the future. I am currently serving as a Bishop and have the opprotunity to serve and watch over around 400 people in what a marvelous thing this has been for me. I get to rub shoulders with wonderful people who are doing there best to live the golden rule and to serve their fellowment. The Church has given me the opprotunity to be stretched and I have grown from my service. What I have learned the most is that when you are in the service of your fellowmen you are in the service of your God. I will ever be grateful for my service and the opprotunity to live my faith everyday.
