Hi I'm Nicholas (Nick) Smith

I am married to Kristen, and my children are Elle and Crew. I am from Tucson, Arizona but currently living in East Wenatchee, WA.

About Me

I'm a bi-lingual trial attorney (English-Spanish). When I'm not spending time with my wife and kids, I enjoy golf and crossfit. I am a Veteran-Medic of the Arizona Army National Guard, and I have a passion for public service.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to live with my family forever (not "until death do we part") and I have yet to find any other church on earth that can explain to me how I can do that. I served a mission for the Church in the Dominican Republic from 2002-2004, and during that time I thoroughly studied various gospel topics. Before that time, I had a general testimony that the true gospel of Jesus Christ existed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and that by living such gospel, I could live a happy life. It was while serving a mission, however, that I learned that the true gospel of Jesus Christ could be found ONLY in the true church of Jesus Christ. Since then I've become a husband and father, and I've learned how important it is to me to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by 1) having faith in Jesus Christ, 2) repenting when I make mistakes, 3) renewing my baptismal commitment every Sunday by attending church and participating in the Sacrament, and 4) fulfilling my responsibilities as a husband, father, and member of the Church.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Nicholas (Nick) Smith
The law of chastity requires that individuals only engage in sexual relations with their spouses who they are legally and lawfully married to. Since God loves all His children so much, He wants us all to live the law of chastity in order to ensure that we are born into families on this earth where we are loved, cared for, and protected inside a family unit.
