Hi I'm Leland

I'm from the Seattle, Washington area, I am a small business owner, a musician/recording artist, and even a Mormon.

About Me

I own a small business, I am a musician/recording artist and have produced/released 5 albums of music. I play, write, compose and produce music that spans a fairly wide group of genres. My main instrument is piano although I have recently started singing. I love the outdoors and active types of activities. I really enjoy sports such as Ultimate Frisbee, Baseball, Football, Basketball and racquetball. I love camping and hiking. Recently I have become mildly obsessed with paintball :-)

Why I am a Mormon

Years ago I came to understand for myself how very true the scriptures are and what a wonderful blessing they can be in our lives as we study them and seek to apply the principles and lessons found therein, to our lives. I remember one day reading The Book of Mormon and feeling like my mind had been opened and pure knowledge and understanding was being poured into it. It was a tremendous experience accompanied by some of the greatest feelings of peace I had ever felt. Since then I have had countless similar as well as far greater experiences. I have come to understand this process as being the way my Father In Heaven (through his spirit, the Holy Ghost) communicates with me to either teach me, comfort me, guide me, and often answer my prayers. Through learning in the scriptures such as the New Testament and Book Of Mormon, and seeking to apply the principles therein to my life, I have come to gain my own testimony that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God, our Savior and Redeemer, and that through Him and the power of his Atonement, we can have access to forgiveness and healing in this life and Eternal Life in the life to come. I know this, it is my testimony.

How I live my faith

Although I feel I often fall short, every day I seek to live "in the flesh" according to what I have come to understand "in the Spirit"
