Hi I'm Linda

I was born on Vancouver Island, I'm an artist and a crafter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm widowed thirteen years. I am living with my daughter and son. I drive. I love to play cards. Twice week i go to drop in art classes. Five months out of the year I sell at a local market.

Why I am a Mormon

I never thought there were other powers or any life after death. After my husband passed away I was sitting by his bedside and I could feel something more in the room. I started searching for what that was. About ten years after that the missionaries knocked on the door. I started listening to what they had to say and it felt right. I didn't realize, at first, how much of a void that the gospel and listening to the missionaries filled. No words can express the weekly visits of constant support learning eternal truths, to someone so lost.

How I live my faith

I help organize church events for the women of the church. I attend church activities. This year I planted a community garden at the church. I visit one of my friends who has dementia four days a week. I also visit sisters in the congregation once a month. I am currently helping with a local food drive.
