Hi I'm Will

I'm a petroleum geologist and a major rockhound. I have an amazing family - a great wife and 3 wild boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 3 wild boys and an amazing wife. My family is everything to me so I prefer to spend most of my time with them. I love the outdoors and like to get to the mountains whenever possible. The outdoor activities I enjoy most are; hiking, rockhounding, 4-wheeling, and hunting. I work as a Petroleum Geologist and luckily I feel that I have found the perfect job for myself. I actually enjoy going to work (most of the time).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I found out for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of Jesus Christ. I've read the Book of Mormon and the Bible and I prayed to find out the truth. The answer was given to me and now I live my life by that answer. I've found that following the gospel of Christ brings real happiness - not the temporary, artificial kind. Living the gospel also provides hope, and with the state of the world as it is, hope can seem a rare commodity. The knowledge of the true faith of Christ and all of the blessings that come with it is priceless... and I am glad I found it.

How I live my faith

One way I am able to live my faith is by working with the youth in my church. Every Sunday I get to take part in teaching them about the Gospel of Christ and at least once during the week we meet up to do a variety of activities. A few of the activities that we have recently done include: scouting, community service projects, paint-balling, liftings weights, barbecues, and more. I find that working with the youth is very rewarding and I hope that I am able to influence them to make good decisions in their lives.
