Hi I'm Jeremy.

I'm a husband, a father, a surfer and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, and a father of two little boys. I am currently attending college and I am in my last year of the accounting/business program. I love to surf, skateboard, wakeboard, snowboard, and play soccer (aka football). I served a mission in Guatemala for two years and loved it. I currently work in accounting. One of my favorite things to do is to play with my boys. I am very much a family man and love to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have asked my Heavenly father on countless occasions and he has made it clear to me that this is the correct path for my family and I to return to live with him after this life is done. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and that is why he answers our prayers. I have prayed to feel his love in times of trial and he has clearly shown it to me even when I felt nothing was going right. My mother was reactivated in the church when I was young and I am eternally grateful for her courageous decision to get active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. There were several people that our heavenly father has placed in my path to help he have the joy in my testimony that I have today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best example I can be on a daily basis and using my actions as a walking testimony for others on what I stand for and believe in. I served a mission in Guatemala for two years. In Guatemala, I feel that the wonderful people there helped me on my path to develop Christ-like attributes and be a better person day by day. I currently serve as a nursery worker in my ward. It is so much fun to be able to teach gospel truths to kids from 18 months to 3 years old. They truly are pure souls having recently come from our Heavenly Fathers presence.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Yes, our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ always will show their love to all their children rather that just a portion of them. The resurrected Jesus Christ did so by appearing to the people on the American continent after he left his apostles in the Old World. More can be read about his teachings and miracles in America in the Book of Mormon. (3 Nephi chapter 11) Show more Show less
