Hi I'm Amie

I'm a Mormon, a volunteer, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend.

About Me

I am 40 years old this year. I am a mother to 4 kids all who are in school. I want to go back to school to get my degree. I love my family dearly, but I am ready to take on this new adventure in life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 7. I am so thankful they did. I remember the difference it made to our family after we joined the church. We had answers. We were changed for the good. I love this gospel. I love how it has always been a constant in my life. Guiding me, leading me in the right directions. I was fortunate to marry in the temple to a wonderful man who is the love of my life. We continue to learn and grow together in this gospel. Raising teenagers is not an easy task and quite honestly I don't know how I would do it without the love of my Savior and the help and strength I get from my Heavenly Father. I love the Book of Mormon. Often upon reading it I feel as it was written for me. I get the strength and guidance I need from that book. It is such a pure a simple testimony of our Savior, yet I don't know how I could live without it. I am truly blessed. And I am so grateful my parents took that lonely and brave step all those years ago and gave the greatest gift they could have ever possibly given me.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader in the church. I am new at it and am looking forward to the challenge of teaching such amazing youth. I think being a Mormon is in every aspect of my life. It is something I think about daily even hourly. It is not easy sometimes but so worth it. I love waking up every day and thinking about others, and what I can do to help others and the girl's I work with. I love feeling l have a direct line with my Heavenly Father.
