Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Idaho. I enjoy traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in rural Idaho, I dreamed of being able to visit the world. Following some great travel experiences as a teenager, I eventually found a job in the travel industry. My family enjoys visiting new places, though we always have our favorites - such as visiting Grandmas and Grandpas who live out of state, and fairly regular trips to southern California theme parks.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a Latter Day Saint, I was often encouraged to ask my Heavenly Father for help and assistance. As a young child, trying to find some lost keys, I prayed and was led directly to them, and learned our prayers are heard. Following a severe injury, I watched as my father was returned to health following numerous prayers and fasts on his behalf. While these experiences in and of themselves are not the basis for my testimony, they were stepping stones, helping me realize the influence of our Heavenly Father and the Savior in my life. Through these and other sacred experiences, I know that our Heavenly Father has prepared a plan for us, a plan of happiness, that, when followed, will improve and better our lives and our families.

How I live my faith

Much of my faith is related to my family. We read scriptures, pray, and dedicate one night a week to gospel study - which can be interesting with young children. I try to remember my Savior and act as he would.
