Hi I'm Joe

I am a Dad, I love camping, Jeeps and being self employed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three and married to a beautiful woman. My family is my life. I am self employed and love to play basketball and golf. I work in the telecommunications industry. I enjoy fixing things that are not working and helping others through issues that they need resolving. I love camping and spending time outside with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Gospel by a family that Loved me very much. I am so greatful that I was able to find the Gospel. I was raised with the principles and morals that were needed to help me be a better person throughout my life. As a rebellious teenager, I decided that I did not need the Gospel in my life. I stopped going to Church for 20 years; however, I never stopped believing in the Gospel and always proudly called myself a Mormon. I did not truly understand what I was giving up while away from the Church. I had family and friends serve missions in various areas of the world. I look back on that time, and regret not serving a mission myself. I use that as motivation to help share the Gospel now with my friends and my family. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and the truths that it holds for all of us. I believe that our Heavenly Father has given us a Plan of Salvation, where we can be Sealed to our Families forever. I look forward to the day that my entire family enters the Temple to be Sealed. As a parent, I have a responsibility to raise my children in the Gospel. We will all be held accountable for our actions while here on Earth. We all must teach our children to Pray and live the Gospel. I Love hearing my young children give Prayers to thank Heavenly Father for blessings in their lives. I encourage anyone that reads this to get a copy of the Book of Mormon and read it with a strong intent to learn the truth. If you pray to your Heavenly Father and ask him to confirm the truth of Book of Mormon to you, He will do just that. The peace that you will feel while living the Gospel and following the Teachings of Jesus, will bring you great joy in your Life.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church, I often get asked, you go to Church for three hours on sunday!? I usually laugh and tell them that, yes, it is a small amount of time to spend serving and learning about the Lord. We have so much going on in our lives that I look forward to spending each Sunday at Church and with my Family. I am currently serving as the Sunday School President and enjoy the feelings that I get while serving. There are many things that I do to Live My Faith. An important part of Living My Faith involves reading the Scriptures daily. I do not always do that; however, I try to read as much as I can. Daily Prayers keep me close to my Heavenly Father and allow a pathway of communication between Him and me. The great thing about being a member of the Church is being Baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a constant companion throughout my life. I feel a sense of piece and security knowing that I have someone watching over me and helping me through my trials. I believe that we must be in this world, but not of this world. There are so many things going on in the world that I want to keep my Children away from. When they get Baptized at the age of eight, I know the Holy Ghost will be with them to guide and direct them.
