Hi I'm Heath

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm a guy who love's to see people happy and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of this church my whole life, but that doesn't mean that I have ever been perfect. I have always enjoyed searving and make others laugh and creating things. I enjoy doing carpentry, reading, playing video games, day dreaming, singing (even though I am not very good at it) and quoting all sorts of movies with my family and friends. But the thing I love to do most is talk to people which is one great gift Godmhas given me.

Why I am a Mormon

No one is perfect and realizing this helps me in my testimony. Without the struggles that all people have from all walks of life there would be no place to grow. Our Heavenly Father loves us dearly, if we trust in him I know without a doubt in my mind and heart, he will never abandon us to fight our battles alone . He will be on our right and on our left, he will bring us up and watch over us I love him and I know he loves all of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by effort. We don't have to be perfect but we do have to try, but how do we do that? It's simple prayer, scripture study, service, going to church. Having faith may not happen immediately but it will happen we just have to try and keep the commandments. If you have trouble seeing the end of the tunnel when life gets hard and your faith is tried read in Matthew 11:29-30 to"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No we don't. We do honor, respect, love, and revere Joseph Smith but we only worship God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. He is a prophet of the Lord and the only way to know if he is to ask our Father in the name of Jesus Christ if he is a prophet. If you do this the Holy Ghost will tell you if he is a prophet because he either is or isn't there can be no in between. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

We believe that the work of God is not just for those who are living now in this life but those who have come before us also. There are many people is this world who have never even heard of a God or Jesus Christ and because of that does that mean that God forgets them when they die? No it doesn't. I know that God loves us so much that he will always give us the chance to come close to him and all can have the chance to except baptism even in death. We want all people to receive the salvation of Christ so we must all be baptized to do so. Show more Show less
