Hi I'm Jeff

Born in Provo and raised in Spokane, WA. I'm studying computer science and math at college. I'm a latter-day saint.

About Me

I'm studying Computer Science and Math at college. I recently returned from a 2-year mission in northern Argentina. I'm the oldest of 4 boys and try to lead the way for them in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

It's the church that Jesus Christ established. As the scriptures point out "by their fruits ye shall know them". What's great is that you can pray to God and sincerely ask him if this church is His church, with the intention to follow the prompting that you receive, and He'll help you feel what's right. I feel quite confident about my future and being able to fulfill my potential in life--a feat that is worth more than anything.

How I live my faith

As stated in my "About Me" section, I served a 2-year mission in Argentina, helping others to accept and live Christ's gospel to the fullest: it was a truly rewarding experience seeing the positive change in their lives. Before the mission, I was a youth in the church, and I participated in various service projects around the community, which helped me to earn my Eagle Scout ranking in the Boy Scouts of America.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Jeff
You better believe it! It only makes sense: if God is a perfect being that is always the same yesterday, today, and forever, then if he called prophets in ancient times, why would he stop now? There are lots of interesting challenges in life and attacks on the family that didn't exist before our time. It would only be appropriate to have a living prophet that knew about these modern dangers so that he could properly instruct us as to how we should avoid them, through revelation. Show more Show less
