Hi I'm Kim

I am a stay-at-home mom of four kids. I have a passion for musical theater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy participating in musical theater and have been in many different productions. I met my husband on a church singles website and he flew down to see me in one of the musicals I was in. The first time I saw him in person was in the green room during intermission. I was in a big frilly dress, a curly blonde wig, and full stage makeup. Luckily he still fell for me. We were married five years ago and I am currently a stay-at-home mom to our four beautiful children ages four and under. Life is super crazy at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I am a Mormon because I have developed my own testimony of the gospel. I've studied the scriptures and prayed to know if they were true. I know Jesus Christ lives and that he is my Savior. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today. I know that each and every person in this world is a child of God and that He knows and loves us all individually. I know that Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and that is why He has given us the gospel. I know that my family can be together forever and that we can live with our Heavenly Father again. This knowledge gives me great happiness.

How I live my faith

Because the gospel brings such joy to my life, I want to share it with everyone. I teach the young women (ages 12-18) on Sundays. I love working with the youth because I remember how hard it was when I was their age - how desperately I wanted to fit in. It is my hope that they learn that it is okay to stand up for what's right, even if it's not the most popular thing to do. I also hope that I can help them realize how much their Heavenly Father loves them and just how special they are.
