Hi I'm Robyn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of a budding orthodontist, a mother of three blue-eyed children, and a health enthusiast. I love watching the sun rise as I run or as I do yoga. I make the best granola EVER. And I am wannabe thespian.

Why I am a Mormon

Most of my family are Mormons, so I grew up in the Church. As I have tried to keep the commandments, and live the teachings of Christ, I have a greater faith in Him; and I have seen that through obedience and repentance, that He has helped me to overcome challenges, and has protected me from sin and temptation and even from making poor choices. The knowledge and hope I have gained from being a member of this church means everything to me. I have come to realize that the happiness and hope and love that I feel in my life have been given to me by our loving God through his Son, Jesus Christ. I rely on this realization daily, it guides my thoughts and my actions, how I treat my husband and parent my kids.

How I live my faith

One of the things I love about being a member of the church are the many ways to love and serve others. In my congregation I have been asked to teach the children ages 7-11 songs from the children's song book each Sunday. The children's songs teach the gospel of Christ so simply and beautifully. My goal as chorister is to help the children feel the Holy Spirit and to gain a greater love and understanding of our Savior and His gospel, the music and the words are secondary. The great thing about teaching children is that we can have fun AND feel the Spirit. I have love, loved this calling, 1) because of the kids 2) because of the Spirit that is always there and 3) it gives me that "stage time" that I crave and can't get by being a stay-at-home momma :)
