Hi I'm Nate

I'm a husband, a father and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two lovely hyperactive girls who get excited when I come home from work. They are sweet and kind and very outgoing. I work as a landscaper. I love to work with plants and people and find joy in improving our surroundings.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is central in my life. He is my Redeemer and Savior. As I learn about Him I feel peace in my heart. When I hear others even speak His name there is a reverence that comes over me that I know He is real and that He loves me. I am a member of His church because I have prayed to know if it is true and have feelings in my heart and words in my mind that told me it is true. It is the Church of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and hope, we look to Him for salvation and redemption.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. What a joy it is to assist one another even if it is a word of encouragement or a smile. Serving others makes me feel better about myself. I have been called to minister to our congregation as the bishop of our ward. I love it! I get to learn from other members and I see their faith and strength as I associate with them. They strengthen me as I strive to help them. I am grateful for the commandments, they teach us how we should treat God, others, and ourselves. They guide us to truly live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My faith also teaches me to respect others and their beliefs. When I see people in my community attending their churches and worshipping God according to their beliefs, it makes me happy because I know that they are worshipping God and reverencing His name. What a wonderful country we live in that allows us to worship God according to our own dictates.
