Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a mom and a speech language pathologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful state of Utah and went to college in both Utah and Arizona. I married my sweetheart when I was 35 years old and now I'm the mom of a beautiful daughter. I am a speech language pathologist and I love working with children. I have traveled frequently and I love to experience new places. I enjoy reading books (with the exception of fantasy and sci fi), watching movies, and being around family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have gained so much understanding of who I am and who I can become by learning and living the gospel. It brings me joy to know that I'm a daughter of God and he knows me and loves me. I know that he didn't leave me floundering on this earth without a purpose. He has provided me with tools to endure and enjoy life. It is amazing to know that my prayers are heard and answered, and that through prayer and scripture study I can find answers to my questions. My Heavenly Father has called a prophet. When I think about the world, and begin to feel anxious, it brings me so much comfort to know that there is a prophet of God receiving revelation for me. I am so grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, who sacraficed himself for me and I know that because of his atonement, if I keep the commandments, I can be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by praying each day, being honest with others, finding small opportunities to serve, and trying to be like Jesus. I'm not always perfect, and some days I'm not even close, but the key word is I'm TRYING. Each month, I give a lesson to the women in the church. I enjoy discussing principles of the gospel with them and learning from their examples.
