Hi I'm Susan

I'm a Grandma, I'm a photographer,and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am mom to a great daughter and grandma to 2 active boys. I work as a software tester, and look forward to retiring soon to spend more time on my photography. I love camping, hiking to waterfalls, snowshoeing, and photographing it all! I spent 2 years in the Army during the Vietnam War, most of that time spent in beautiful Okinawa.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in 1978. I was a single mother, working and going to school. I grew up without religion in my home. I felt the need to have God in my life, had been attending the Lutheran church but found that I had many questions my pastor could not answer. I had a new friend who was LDS and she invited me to an open house on temples. As soon as I attended this, I knew I was hearing truth. As the missionaries taught me about the church I realized my questions were being answered and this was the church I had been looking for. I was baptized a few weeks later.

How I live my faith

I strive to follow the teachings of our savior each day of my life. Currently, I have the privilege to serve as an ordinance worker in the Seattle Temple. I love serving church members when they attend the temple.
