Hi I'm Joe

I'm a husband to a wonderful woman, a father to 4 young boys, a teacher and a coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 29 year old father of 4 and a husband to a beautiful wife. My job is what I love to do. I have been teaching history and government to high schoolers for the past 4 years. Also, I have had the pleaure to coach boys' basketball for the last 4 years. The relationships that have been formed are amazing. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends and playing basketball, hiking and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in strong Catholic family with two great parents that loved me very much. As I grew older I lost interest in church, but still believed there was a God and that Jesus Christ was real. After I graduated from Minnesota State University, I moved down here to Arizona and met the woman that I am married to today. I told her that I was not going to convert to the LDS church, but she new better. My first experience with the LDS church was a Pioneer Trek that my then girlfriend invited me to. I could not believe that spirit that I felt those three days. I then agreed to go to church with her. My first sacrament meeting just happened to be a fast and testimony meeting. I will never forget that meeting and the testimonies that I heard. I could not tell you what was said that day, but I can tell you that I knew what they said was true. Not too long after that I started visiting with the missionaries. They asked me to pray if the church was true and I did. Soon after I received my answer and was baptized. I always new that God and Jesus Christ were real, and now I had found the fullness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I pray everyday with my family and personally. I read the scriptures and study them. I go to church every Sunday and partake of the sacrament. I try to share my testimony of Jesus Christ every day. I live my faith by trying to bring people to Jesus Christ.
