Hi I'm Wendy

I grew up in California, Wyoming and Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

This is my second marraige. We have a total of 6 children ages 21 - 37, and two adorable grandsons. I enjoy reading (ALOT), photography, and scrapbooking. I'm a Medical Assistant but currently work as a Patient Access Representative. My husband and I are still coming to terms with and learning to live with the complications of his diabetes ( multiple mini-strokes, memory loss, ect). This would be so much harder without the knowledge that after the resurection we will be made whole again, and that families can be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything that the missionaries were teaching me was what I already personally believed. The Joseph Smith Story was new to me though, but it made sense. I was baptised 3 weeks after the elders knocked on my door, my husband became active again in the Church, and a year later I went to the Seattle Temple.

How I live my faith

I teach the children who are turning 8 this year in Primary (it's like a Sunday School) and do visiting teaching. I try to be an example at work. At a recent job interview for a new position at the company I work for, the manager said she would be willing to adjust my schedule on Sundays so that I would still be able to attend church. That suprised me as I had never spoken about how much attending church meant to me with her. Needless to say that put the opening in her department at the top of the list of the positions I was interviewing for! BTW I got the job!
