Hi I'm Darwin

I'm a Mormon. I have been an educator for 33 years.

About Me

I love my family. I have served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter crew chief, a lot of fun and a lot of hard work. I am way past my prime but really enjoy baseball. I played through junior college, loved it. I am an educator of 33 years. Kids are just the best to watch them learn and grow. I served a mission in British Columbia and Alaska. I learned a lot about people and a lot about myself during this two year period of service to my Heavenly Father. I love fishing and hunting, especially with my sons.

Why I am a Mormon

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I believe it. I have asked people to put Moroni 7:10, in the Book of Mormon to the test. I have and as a result, I am a Mormon. I have served people in a lot of different capacities in the Church. I have observed others come to learn of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that through living the principles of the Gospel, I am a better employee, person, father, husband.

How I live my faith

I really try to be obedient to the commandments as taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As mentioned, this is beneficial to all as I firmly know that this helps us become simply better people - in all facets of our lives. My family are members of the Church, we have this in common. I appreciate the example taught by my parents and am trying to be that kind of parent for my children and grandchildren.
