Hi I'm Jennifer

I am a mom, a wife and a homemaker. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am wife and a mother to two children. I enjoy remodeling and making things (usually from wood). I love the satisfaction of seeing a project through whether it be small (like a picture frame) or large (like remodeling a kitchen). I enjoy the outdoors and love the snow. I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, running, reading, and spending time with my family (even the in-laws:)).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I've always known the church was true and have never questioned my beliefs. When I was very young I gained a strong testimony of prayer that has helped me through out my life. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He cares for each of his children and knows us by name. Because of our Savior Jesus Christ and his atonement, we can repent and return to live with Him again. Living close to a temple growing up, I always marveled at the beauty and spirit that comes from the temple. I know that I will be with my family for eternity. What a blessing and comfort it is to know that when I die or someone in my family dies, I will see them again. That our life here on earth does not end when we die. There is so much more for us than this. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today that leads and guides this church. That Heavenly Father speaks through him and tells and teaches us what we need to know. I am grateful for this gospel and the strength it brings to me.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving as Primary President in our ward. I love the children and the great testimonies they bring to church every Sunday. They teach me so much through there examples and spirits. Singing time of course is the children's favorite and even though I don't have any musical talent we have a great time learning new songs and feeling our Saviors love through song.
