Hi I'm Sara

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona, U.S.A. I am a wife, a mother of four, and a dental assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is to play with my granddaughter. She is the most lovely child! I also love to read and to cook. If I didn't have to work I would probably spent more time doing those things. I am learning how to garden. I would like to learn to ride a horse. I find dentistry fascinating! I probably would have gone to dental hygiene school if I had known how much I like working in the dental field. I love to be outdoors whenever possible. One fabulous way to do this is on the back of my husband's Harley.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I am happiest when I serve the Lord and His children. I feel like everyone is my friend until they prove otherwise. I love to read the Book of Mormon. I understand it easier than any other book of scripture. It speaks to my heart. I was taught by wonderful parents and great Primary, Sunday school, Mutual, Seminary, Institute, and Lambda Delta Sigma teachers. I also had grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, and friends who were very good examples for me. I know that I am a child of God. That has given me so much strength throughout my life. My goal in life is to try to be like Jesus who is my Lord and Savior.

How I live my faith

I find great joy in serving as a visiting teacher which gives me the opportunity to visit with other sisters that I don't know well. I learn many things from them and hopefully some of the things I say to them are helpful in their lives. A visiting teacher visits at least once a month with her assigned sisters. I also have the opportunity to serve as an assistant den leader in Cub Scouting. I have previously been a den mother when two of my own boys were in Cubs, so I feel right at home with this calling. The boys in our den are full of life and want to learn and grow with the scouting program which is so much fun!
