Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a math lover, a National Park visitor fanatic, a birthday party planner enthusiast, a full-time Mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the MidWest determined to do anything except be an educator. I went to college and soon realized my love of math and my desire to have a career that was a benefit to society were meant to go together to be a.......teacher! I spent 5 years teaching math before I decided to stay home as a full-time mom. I have since worked on my masters degree in mathematics education and have been able to teach a few classes at our community college. My family has decided for the past few years to take a longer vacation each summer. As we planned what/where we would go we quickly realized that camping was the only way we would be able to afford to stay out for 2 weeks at a time. Since buying a travel trailer five years ago we have been to 20 National Parks and 30 more National Sites. My oldest child and I plan carefully for the next summer trip! We have seen and learned so much! For fun I play with pictures of our trips and my family, read, and think about birthday parties for the year to come. I love a good theme and then running away with it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who believed in this gospel. As I grew up and began to learn to question and then make decisions on my own, I have repeatedly decided to be a Mormon. I have had countless experiences that reaffirm my faith in my Savior and of His awareness of me. I understand that by following His example I will have real joy in my life. The peace that comes from following my Savior's example is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my ward. This involves participating in the women's group, helping my children particpate in their youth groups, especially scouting, and looking for ways to serve those around me. I was recently an area leader for the children under 12 youth group. It is amazing to work with children and the leaders that spend so much time with them. As I watch these innocent young children make decisions to choose the right, I am uplifted and encouraged to make similar choices.
