Hi I'm Annikka

I'm fun-loving and crazy. I'm a wildlife enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! My name is Annikka and I just love this church!! I'm a college student and I recently studied at Arizona State University. My major is Wildlife and Restoration Ecology. I met the love of my life last year and we were married in the Mesa, AZ Temple for time and all eternity! I love him so incredibly much!! Marriage is wonderful when you spend it with the one you love. We recently moved to Colorado and love every bit of it! I enjoy meeting new people and making friends with everyone I meet. I love to hang out with my family and friends. I will pretty much do anything fun with my family and friends. I'm not super gifted with sports but I still love to play. I somewhat play classical guitar and I love it. I am always positive and I try to help others be positive. I enjoy volunteering when I have the chance. I wish I could volunteer more which is what I am trying to do. I want to have a career as a Wildlife Conservationist. I absolutely LOVE wildlife and nature. I love going to national parks, zoos, anything with animals! My goal is to travel the world and study all the wildlife I can. Even save habitats so those who are endangered will survive. Yes, one of my favorite TV channels is Nat. Geo Wild and of course Animal Planet! I grew up watching Steve Irwin and I wanted to meet him. Anyway, you can tell I love animals. I am a great friend, sister, daughter, wife, and peer. My name is Annikka and I'm a Mormon :)!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I have been through a lot of hard trials throughout my life and this church has helped me so incredibly much through these hard times. Life isn't easy and we all know that, especially when we live in the world we live today. This gospel has helped me stay positive. I always hear how some think our church is restrictive and we can't be free, but in reality we are free. Free from addiction, free from heartache, free from the negativity that is around every corner we turn. I am always happy and when I have my down days, I simply pray and read my scriptures and I'm uplifted. I haven't always been this way, not until recently. I know I'm not perfect but I try my hardest to be the very best I can be. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this church is true. I know Jesus Christ died for our sins and I'm so grateful for him. Without the atonement, I would be lost and in the dark. I know that Joesph Smith was a true prophet and that he restored the gospel today. I know that we have true prophets and apostles today that lead the church and receive revelation from our Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. I just started reading it for the first time and I enjoy reading it every night. It has definitely changed my life for the better. I love this church so much. I want everyone to be as happy as I am. This gospel is the reason why I am who I am today, a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I live the standards the best I can. I read my scriptures and pray. I go to church and our church activities. Whenever asked about the church, I answer questions and dispel any false statements or thoughts about the church. I am never afraid to say that I am a part of the church. I try my hardest to be the best example I can be for my friends, family, and peers. I am so happy and blessed to have been worthy to enter the house of the Lord and be sealed to my best friend. This gospel is amazing and I don't know what I would do without it!
