Hi I'm Gary

I'm a Mormon. I live in Arizona, and have been a member, of the Lord's church, since 1967.

About Me

After I was born, I was in the Methodist church. When the missionaries found my family, years later, their missionary discussions helped me to understand a whole lot, about where I came from, why I'm here, on the Earth, and what may become of me, after I die. I've lived, in 7 or 8 different places, since I joined the church. One of the main things that I like, about the church, is that the teaching is the same, wherever I go. It's not up to each individual preacher, or leader, to interpret the gospel, into his own words, and meaning. One of the main things, that I want to emphasize, is that, the church, is 'The Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-Day Saints',and, not the 'Mormon' church. We're referred to, like that, since we have the Book of Mormon, which is the religious, and political history of the American continent, as the Bible is, of Europe and the East.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, or a member, of The Church of Jesus Christ 'of Latter-Day Saints', since, when the missionaries taught my family and I, the discussions, they answered a lot of the questions, that were in my mind, and the gospel fit into place, in the whole realm of things. Joining the church was the best thing, that ever happened to me, and I'm a much more complete son of our heavenly father, as a result of doing so. I testify that a person can become closer to the Lord by following the teachings, of the Book of Mormon, than by any other book, on Earth.

How I live my faith

The way that I try to live, as Christ would have me live, is that I do unto others, as I would have them do unto me, and I try to help all of my brothers and sisters, on the Earth, in any ways, that I see they need help. As my resources are limited, I'm not able to provide all of the help, that I'd like to but, I do what I can. As, everyone is my brother and sister, I feel bad, that I can't help everyone more, but at least I can share a smile with them, which, hopefully helps to make their lives a little better, and a little brighter.
