Hi I'm Amy

I love photography, I grew up in Washington, I love school and seminary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HI! I'm Amy! First off, I love art. I love music, doodling, Islamic Art, Statues, Sunsets, Sunrises, Museums, and much more places that show true beauty! I am really crazy, I love taking risks and having fun. I never wear the same color of flip flops, I love making people laugh, I love food. I love cooking and trying new things. School has become important to me over the years. I have the best adult ro-models in life, my parents, Sunday School teachers, ward adult friends, teachers at school, and adults that I have met at camps and just activities that I participate in. I fully am dedicated to photography. I want one of those film cameras, they are so much more real than digital. I am human, I have emotions and feelings. Things that make me feel better are exercising, listening to music, reading the scriptures, talking to a close family member or my best friend, my soul sister! I love inspirational quotes and I believe someday I will make a difference, if I haven't already..

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the covenant (my parents we're already members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints so I became a Mormon right away). I have gained a testimony that I know that this Church, that Joseph Smith restored, is true. He is the Prophet of the Restoration. I know that Jesus is the true Christ and he performed the Atonement so that I can return to my Heavenly Father. I know that the scriptures can help you, they can teach you, and they can give you a change of heart. I know that families are forever, we aren't perfect and we all have our moments, but through Jesus Christ, because of Him, i can also live with my family and loved ones again. I have learned these things from various things in my life, that's why I am a Mormon, because I know that the concepts of the Gospel are true.

How I live my faith

I am a Mia Maid (14-15 year old girls), I was the secretary for the Mia Maid presidency. I attend Young Womens (girls ages 12-17 in our church) on Wednesday's for my church. We love to do service projects. For Youth Conference (yearly event that in which all youth get together) this year our theme was "Called To Serve" we cleaned up a volleyball court at an island not too far from where I live. This was a good experience for me, the next day my group and I went to a lady's house and removed branches and a huge log from her little creek in the backyard. This experience taught me about hard work and how good it makes you feel inside. I have given talks in my church meetings Several times, I have found that I have given the congregation words that are beneficial to them. I live my faith everyday at school, It IS hard, I'm not perfect. I try my best each and everyday to be righteous, I find that the best way to Live Your Faith.
