Hi I'm Seth

I am a husband, father to twins (a girl and a boy), a family man, and an optomist.

About Me

I have a BSN and MBA from the University of Utah. I am a registered nurse that works in the medical industry for Biosense Webster Inc, a Johnson & Johnson company. I have more school loans than I know what to do with. I am a SyFy junky and love to watch shows about zombies, aliens, and natural disasters. I am fascinated by natural disasters and have always wanted to work directly with a company that assists in devastating times. Because of my fascination with natural disasters, I have always wanted to experience a tornado, a hurricane, an earthquake, a blizzard, a flood, a tsunami, a volcanic eruption at least once but have never been able to so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that had already accepted the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptize at the age of 8 and have faithfully follow the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout my life. My true conversion occured around the age of 18 when I was preparing to serve a mission for the Church. I had to know if the Book of Mormon was true and if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints had been restored to the earth, if I was going to go and serve a 2 year mission. I received my own witness that the Church was restored, that the Book of Mormon was true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I subsequently served a 2 year mission in Brazil, Marilia Mission. Since my mission, I have been enourmously blessed for my faithfulness with an incredible wife, a Temple sealing for time and all eternity, and two incredible twin children that bring me the utmost happiness.

How I live my faith

It seems like I have to reflect everyday upon the gradual and slow degredation of mankinds' morals, beliefs, standards, and faith in God. With this reflection, I realize that I have to live a life above the filth, corruption, dishonesty, and depravity so that others may recognize that there is a better way, a higher path to follow, and a happier existence. I always try to be an example to my friends, my co-workers, my neighbors, my assosciates, and all those with whom I come into contact. I pray that through my life and example, I can bless the lives of others. I have had many opportunities to serve in the Church. I have been a ward clerk and an executive secretary. I have taught lessons in Gospel Principles. I have serve with the young men. I just finished working with the Cub Scouts in our ward and am now currently serving as the second couselor in the Elders Quorum. There are so many opportunities to serve and befriend others that it strengthens my faith.
