Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a mother of four, a RN and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona. I went to BYU for my first three years of college where I met my husband, got married and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin soon after. I finished my college education at Marquette University in Milwaukee and graduated with a bachelor of science in Nursing. I worked for a few years as a neurosurgical RN and then decided to be a stay at home mom and take care of my daughter. I now have four children and love being able to stay at home with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but have gained a strong testimony for myself that this is the true church upon the earth. It just simply makes sense and I think it teaches us the best way to live and be happy. I am so happy and proud to tell people that I am a Mormon. I am thankful everyday to have this gospel in my life. My testimony of this gospel and my Savior has helped me get through the toughest and darkest times and it brings a peace to me that I wouldn't feel if I didn't have this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I have had several callings in the church over the years. I have worked with children, teenagers and the adult women in our church. I currently have a calling working with some of the women in our church. I love being able to serve and get to know the different women in our church.
