Hi I'm Adrienne

I am a wife, mother of 4, a flute and piano teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married now for 12 years. Lots of ups and downs but mostly ups. My husband and I are great friends have lots of great conversations and share everything with each other. We are parents of 4 kids. 2 boys and 2 girls perfect family!! We are done having children and are nervous about whats next with raising teens!! I love to teach. I currently teach flute and piano lessons in my home which is a stress relief and enjoyment for me. I enjoy crocheting, orgainizing, and being with people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the opportunity to be raised in the LDS church since I was born. In fact my great great great great grandfather(Joseph Knight) was good friends with Joseph Smiths family and in fact Josph Smith borrowed my grandfathers wagon and horse to get the gold plates from the hill cumorah. My parents have always instilled in me a belief in my Savior since the day I was born. Growing up around the age of 16 I came to a crossroads, because of peer pressure from my friends, where I needed to search, ponder, and pray to know that being Mormon was the right thing and that the Book of Mormon was true. I went to the temple and prayed one night. An overwhelming sensation came over me and I couldn't stop crying knowing that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me unconditionally. What a profound and spiritual experience that I will never forget. I know we have a living prophet today that leads and guides us in these latter days. I know I have a Heavenly Father who has a special specific plan for me and my family. If I am faithful and follow his commandments I will be able to live with him again and he will bless my life and others I come in contact with. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and if we read and follow its teachings we will be guided to do what is right.

How I live my faith

I LOVE to serve others. I am always trying to find ways to reach out and help others no matter there religous beliefs. Serving others helps me feel good inside and makes me happy. This is one thing I love about being mormon is there are opportunities to serve others on a daily basis. I am currently teaching girls 12-13 years of age in our church. I love their enthusiasm and energy. I feel so rejuvinated and energized after being with them. I also love visiting with others so I can learn from them. Especially now that my kids are getting older I enjoy getting together with others in my church and asking them about their parenting skills so I can be a better parent.
