Hi I'm Byron

I'm a happily married father of 5 and a physician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is the more important to me than anything else. I have 3 sons and 2 daughters. They bring my greatest joy. I am a pediatric cardiologist. I love my work as well. Taking care of children has been a wonderful blessing to me. I love almost all sports. I play many and enjoy watching more. I have taken up running and completed a 1/2 marathon.

Why I am a Mormon

I truly love my church. In it I have found doctrines and teachings which help me in all aspects of my life. The knowledge that I can live eternally with my wife and children brings me great peace. I spend a great deal of time trying to help children with sick hearts. I have come to realize that as difficult as it is to have a physically ill heart it pales in comparison to having a spiritually diseased heart. I know that Jesus Christ is my Redeemer and the only one who can heal my own broken heart. I have felt the peace that comes from His healing power.

How I live my faith

I love the fact that as a member of the church I am asked to shoulder responsibility in the Lord's work. I have had many opportunities for growth while serving as a youth adviser, record keeper, and in other leadership positions. I currently have the chance to teach the gospel to young 10-year-old children. I find great happiness in being able to study the scriptures and find ways to teach about the Savior on their level.
