Hi I'm Mason

I'm an athlete, a long-boarder, a college football fanatic, a die hard University of Utah fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Utah and have been involved in sports ever since I could walk. Baseball is my passion in life and has been a major part of who I am. I love my family more than words can express. They have been the greatest influence in my life helping me make right choices. My family and I are all die hard University of Utah fans. You'll never meet a prouder Ute family than my own. I am currently serving a mission in Spokane Washington and am loving the work. Upon returning from my mission I plan on attending Southern Utah University to play baseball and further my education to become a radiologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with the gospel and the principles in my home. I never really learned to appreciate how much I gain from it until I was a teenager. I used to take the Church and the gospel for granted. I went to church, I sat there, and I never really appreciated what was being taught. It wasn't until I truly read the Book Of Mormon for myself and sincerely prayed about it that I came to know for myself, without a doubt, that the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is truly the church of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith truly did translate the Book Of Mormon through the power of God and restored Christ's Church on the earth. It is through this church that we can know of Gods plan for us here on earth, and how we can live our lives in such a way that we can return to live with him. From knowing the Book Of Mormon to be true, I have had a greater desire to learn about Christ, and his ministry and his love for all people. I have allowed that desire to grow into a love of the gospel and a knowledge of its truthfulness.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm living my faith by serving the Lord in the Spokane Washington mission. I live my faith by example. I try to look at Jesus Christ and the example he was to everyone and then try to live as much like him as I possibly can. I push myself everyday to be as good a man as my father is to me. I share the gospel with everyone by being an example at all times and at all places. I live my life in such a way that there should be no reason to question my commitment to Jesus Christ. When they ask why I live this way, I tell them it is because I believe in Jesus Christ. Through the example of my savior and my father I try to be an example to others.
