Hi I'm Sheridan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nursing student. I'm from a good sized family with awesome parents. I'm married to the most amazing man in the world. I love volleyball, music, and cooking (and eating:), and crafting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised a member, I have grown up valuing and loving my religion. I love the feeling the Gospel has given me. I believe in the restoration of the gospel for our days through Joseph Smith. I love the Book of Mormon and have a testimony of its truthfulness. The church offers such a peace that I haven't found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others, it's the best way to forget your own problems and be Christ-like. I try to do my best in everything I do and elevate others around me. I try to keep my standards high and be an example to others to do the same.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Sheridan
A testimony is what you know to be true. I have felt the Spirit when I'm learning something or reading something and it testifies of the truthfulness to me. For example, I know and can share my testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is lead by a prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, and I know that because I have felt it to be true.
